Chop’n Prep is headed by Editor-in-Chief Julia Collins. With degrees from the Culinary Institute of America and New York University, Julia has spent decades researching the intersection of tech and cooking to benefit home cooks. She leads a skilled team of food writers, recipe testers, chefs and industry analysts.

Under Test Kitchen Director Chelsea Monroe, our staff rigorously tries out hundreds of appliances, gadgets and cookware each year. Chelsea draws on her 15+ years of restaurant experience to develop recipes and identify tools that deliver optimal results.
